With more than 20 years in electronic payment, ATM and smart card industries, Kazem was formerly President of Hypercom Europe, Middle East and Africa where he saw a period of rapid growth between 2007-11. He previously held multiple executive positions in the Electronic Payment sector including Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Product Development of Ingenico Group and Senior Vice President, Financial Services EMEA of Gemalto. Fluent in three languages he holds a Master‘s Degree in Engineering from the University of Orsay in France.

As MD of Hypercom UK & Ireland since early 2008 Dave led major growth in business revenues and profitability. With 30 years experience in electronic payment, B2B leasing and retail banking he was formerly VP at First Data leading all aspects of the specialized payment terminal management services business. Prior to this he spent 10 years in senior business development positions at GE Capital European Equipment Financing, one of Europe’s leading equipment lessors.

MD of Hypercom for Spain and Portugal from 2003, formerly Thales e-Transactions, José Maria has been active in the Spanish payment terminal industry from its launch in 1982. Prior to that he held Product Management & Sales/Marketing roles in several companies including Telettra, Alcatel and Dassault.

Marivel joins Spire Payments as Chief Financial Officer, bringing 28 years of solid financial management experience in global companies. Before joining Spire Payments, she was the Regional CFO for Asia Pacific for Hypercom. Previously, Marivel also held a similar post for Oberthur Technologies where she managed Regional Finance in Singapore for two years. She has also worked with BP and Jardine Schindler Group.

Marivel is a Certified Public Accountant by profession.

With over 22 years experience in the electronic payments, ATM and smart card industries, Zdenek has worked at an executive level with Gemplus, Datacard, NCR, Ingenico, Verifone, Global Payments and most recently Hypercom. Zdenek has a strong marketing and business development background, which informed his previous positions as Managing Director of Central Eastern Europe region for Gemplus and Hypercom, as well as his latest role with Spire Payments.

Zdenek holds Degree in Business & Marketing Management from Prague University of Economics, and is fluent in five languages.

Michel Sohrabi has more than 21 years of experience in wireless data transmission, security and networking, 10 years of which have been devoted to the electronic payments industry. Before joining Spire Payments Michel was at Hypercom for four years where he held senior Sales and Business Development roles. Prior to that, Michel joined Hypercom in 2008 as Vice President, Marketing and Business Development for Hypercom EMEA, subsequently holding the position of Vice President and General Manager of Benelux and Scandinavia at Hypercom. He has previously held sales, marketing and business development positions with Ingenico Group and COM One Group.

Michel holds a Master's degree in Marketing from Washington University and a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Orsay.
