MOSST to deploy Spire Payments’ mPOS solution to thousands of merchants across Ukraine
MOSST, a Ukraine based FinTech start-up, initiates nationwide mPOS deployment to thousands of merchants throughout Ukraine using Spire Payments’ innovative mPOS solution. MOSST acts as the merchant aggregator for SME clients throughout the region
The powerful white label offering utilises Spire’s award winning chip & PIN mPOS device (the SPm2), secure software architecture, Application Programming Interface (API), and key injection environment. This capability allowed MOSST to rapidly develop and certify the solution using their mPOS transaction management system. The MOSST proposition is both cost-sensitive and feature-rich, allowing merchants who previously could not accept face-to-face electronic payments to benefit from this technology. Phase 1 of the project is scheduled to finish in March 2018, after which the solution will be deployed to multiple markets across the region.
MOSST has received full licensing from the Central Bank of Ukraine to provide a wide range of electronic financial services to customers throughout the region.
Anton Medvediev, MOSST CEO explained, ‘Deployment of our solution will commence imminently and commitment from merchants requesting the solution has exceeded all expectation. Working with Spire has allowed us to take advantage of the very latest technological advancements in payments, something we plan to leverage further moving forward.’
Tai-Kei Cheung, President Spire Payments: ‘This news comes only weeks after us announcing the completion of CCT’s powerful m4bank platform utilising our mPOS product suite. In collaboration with MOSST this new project not only demonstrates further growth in the mPOS sector but is also the perfect foundation for expansion into new markets including countertop retail and unattended utilizing our extensive range of solutions.’
